Philip Dyer is a TiE Charter Member and also ‘Entrepreneur in Residence’at the University of Central Lancashire(UCLan). He is the chairman of NXO.
“After a break of five years I decided to test myself and undertake a full season of Indoor Rowing; to my delight I have managed a Gold; Silver and Bronze in my first three competitions – the Bronze being in Copenhagen at the European Championships. This was all leading up to the main event – the World Championships in Boston USA. This was my fourth trip to the World Championships – the first one being in 2003 where we were delighted to have Sir Steven Redgrave as our team captain (photo Philip1.jpg). That same year I came 2nd in the British Championships and had James Cracknel present me with my silver medal .// Jumping forward to 2014 I came 5th; I chose a tough year to return with the winning time in my group setting a new world record……”
